Events
Urick Concessions offers many different options for our clients and their events. In addition to providing our own trailers and stands, we can also manage the food service stands of our clients.
Indiana State Fair
We currently run two trailers, one permanent concession stand and a Food Tent for the Indiana Beef Cattle Association. We have won First Place in the Indiana State Fair Signature Food Contest for three consecutive years 2007, 2008 & 2009 and Second Place in 2011. In 2008 our Signature Food, Deep Fried Bananas Foster Cheesecake on a stick appeared on Good Morning America.
Indiana State Fairgrounds
In 2009 we were awarded a year round contract to provide food & beverage services in the West Pavilion for The Indianapolis Home Show, Boat Sport & Travel Show, Flower & Patio Show and many more events. In 2011 we were awarded the contract for the Ag/Hort Building (Agriculture/Horticulture). We now provide food service year round for two buildings.
Indianapolis Motor Speedway
We are currently their largest independent food vendor based on gross volume. After two seasons of running our concession trailers at the Speedway for all three major races, we were asked to run their largest and highest volume concession stand. We were successful in increasing sales, improving the food quality and customer service.
Indiana Beef Cattle Association
In 2008 we were approached by IBCA to run their north side Ribeye Tent at the Indiana State Fair along with their food stands at Hoosier Beef Congress and the Hoosier Horse Fair. We have improved their image and quality at the Indiana State Fair. We have also acted as advisors for them to improve image and quality at their south side location at the Indiana State Fair which is run by their staff and volunteers.
Other Events
Urick Concessions has an excellent relationship with all of the managers at the events that we participate in. They know that they can count on us for clean stands, great health inspections, quality food and excellent customer service. This gets us invited back year after year.
